OmniDex starts local-first: no account is required for the journal, saved catches remain available offline, and community rankings stay hidden until a real service can protect the data behind them. AI identification needs an internet connection; your records do not.
Privacy promise: OmniDex never publishes raw latitude or longitude. Shared catch cards contain only the fields you explicitly choose to show, plus a city-level or hidden location.
